The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out that the rule of law is an important guarantee for Chinese-style modernization. The socialist market economy is a legal economy. We should give full play to the important role of the rule of law in promoting high-quality development, and use the rule of law to guarantee and promote the construction of a modern economic system and the construction of a high-level socialist market economic system. Promoting Chinese-style modernization requires further comprehensively deepening reform and giving play to the promoting and guaranteeing role of economic law. Therefore, in the new historical period, we should conduct in-depth research on the development of economic law theory and systems.

In view of this, the Economic Law Research Association of the China Law Society will hold a special academic seminar on "Chinese-Style Modernization and the Development of Economic Law" in Nanchang, Jiangxi on November 9, 2024.

I. Seminar Topics

The theme of this conference is "Chinese-Style Modernization and the Development of Economic Law". The conference will focus on (but not limited to) the following topics for discussion:

1. The promotion and guarantee of economic law for Chinese-style modernization;

2. The development of economic law theory for the realization of Chinese-style modernization;

3. The improvement of economic law systems for the realization of Chinese-style modernization;

4. The guarantee of economic law for further comprehensive deepening of reform;

II. Time and Venue of the Seminar

1. Time: All day on November 9, 2024 (registration on November 8)

2. Venue: Nanchang City (specific hotel to be determined)

III. Requirements for Conference Papers

Scholars and experts are warmly welcome to actively write and submit papers around the seminar topics.
