V. Notes for Registration

(1) The academic disciplines and majors specified in the requirements for the recruited positions are set in accordance with the Compilation of Academic Discipline and Major Catalogues (Annex 2). The numbers in parentheses following the major names are the corresponding academic discipline and major codes.

Candidates' academic major names and codes must exactly match those required by the recruited positions. Special attention should be paid to distinguishing between the codes for academic master's programs and professional master's programs. Major names and codes shall be subject to the Compilation of Academic Discipline and Major Catalogues.

If a candidate's major is not included in the Compilation of Academic Discipline and Major Catalogues, they may apply for a position requiring a closely-related major, provided that their own major falls under the same academic discipline or professional degree category as the one specified by the target position, and that the core compulsory courses of the two majors are basically consistent.

In such cases, the candidate must submit the following materials during the qualification review:

l Official explanation of the major's establishment issued by the graduating institution

The university will then conduct a professional accreditation of the candidate's major in accordance with relevant regulations during the qualification review stage.

Unless a major's training orientation is explicitly listed in the aforesaid Compilation of Academic Discipline and Major Catalogues, any training orientation indicated in parentheses or similar forms after the major name on the graduation certificate shall not be regarded as a valid basis for the candidate's application major.

Any candidate who violates the principles of open recruitment—including by forging or altering certificates and documents, obtaining application qualifications through other improper means, or cheating during examinations and assessments—shall have their application qualifications revoked.
